The daily defense of Arid Armor, now evolved into your physical shield for direct sun. We took the same rich, buttery base you love and elevated it into a potent physical sunscreen. This isn’t a chemical screen that absorbs into your skin; this is mineral armor.

Sun Shield Butter uses non-nano titanium dioxide to create a physical barrier that sits on the surface of your skin, reflecting and scattering the sun’s rays before they can do their damage. The rich blend of shea, cocoa, and mango butters provides deep, continuous moisture, ensuring your skin stays nourished while it’s being protected. It’s a dual-purpose shield: sun defense and deep hydration in one.

✦ The Mineral Shield ✦

• Active Ingredient: Non-Nano Titanium Dioxide 20%: A finely milled earth mineral that acts as a physical shield. It works by reflecting sunlight, providing broad-spectrum protection. We use non-nano particles, which are larger and won’t be absorbed by your skin.

✦ The Buttery Base ✦

• Inactive Ingredients: Sesame Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Mango Butter: The same deeply moisturizing, skin-compatible blend from our Arid Armor. This rich, buttery base ensures the mineral shield applies smoothly and prevents the dryness often associated with sun exposure.

💨 Directions Apply liberally and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. A little goes a long way, but be sure to apply enough for full coverage. Reapply at least every 2 hours, or more frequently after swimming, sweating, or towel drying.

Directions ■ apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure ■ reapply: ■ after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating (note: requires testing) ■ immediately after towel drying ■ at least every 2 hours ■ Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: ■ limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. ■ wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses ■ children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor
